Senator Kevin Cramer represents North Dakota in the U.S. Senate as a member of the Republican Party. Kevin's current Senate term began January 3, 2025 and ends January 3, 2031. Kevin Cramer earned his undergraduate degree in social work from Concordia College and a master's degree in management from the University of Mary, and he served as North Dakota's state public service commissioner before winning the state's at-large House seat in 2012. He won his Senate race in 2018, defeating incumbent Heidi Heitkamp, and serves on the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee and the Environment and Public Works Committee.
